Sarah Clarissa Lang Obituary
Woodsfield, July 9 – Mrs. Sarah Clarissa Lang, 88, formerly of this community, died at 5 o’clock in Morristown after a lingering illness. She was a member of the Methodist church, Goddard Bible class, the Past Noble Grands association and Monroe Rebecca Lodge.
Surviving are three sons, Robert of St. Clairsville who is the Belmont county agent, Chauncey of State College, Pa., and Chester of Washington, D.C; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Her husband died a number of years ago.
The body is at the Gardner funeral home here where friends may call and services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Dale Cole will be in charge and burial will be in Oaklawn cemetery.
