Monroe Co. Man Dies at Home

Woodsfield – Clarence Schumacher, 77, of 318 Eastern avenue, died at his home Wednesday night following a heart attack.

He was a retied Woodsfield clothing merchant. He was a life-long resident of the community.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Wilfred Jones, of Malaga, O.; and one sister, Mrs. W. B. Smith, of Woodsfield.

The body was removed to the Schumacher funeral home where friends may call. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon with Rev. Home J. Kopke officiating . Burial will be in Oaklawn cemetery. Mr. Schumacher served as president of the cemetery board of trustees for more than 40 years.
