Tubaugh Rites At M. E. Church
Mrs. Elizabeth Burkhart Wilkenson, 78, of Jacksonville, Fla., a Woodsfield native died early Sunday in a hospital at Jacksonville.
Mrs. Wilkenson was born in Woodsfield March 15, 1888 [should be 1898], a daughter of the late Charles and Catherine Lang Burkhart. She graduated from Woodsfield High School in 1917. Before moving to Florida 32 years ago, she taught in Woodsfield and Akron schools.
Surviving are her husband Warren Wilkenson; three children, and three grandchildren; two brothers, Dr. Walter Burkhart of Athens, Ga. And Clyde Burkhart of Somerset; two sisters, Mrs. Isabelle Foreaker of Gary, Ind. and Mrs. Freda Bracy of Woodsfield. A brother Dr. Raymond Burkhart preceded her in heath.
Services and burial will be Jacksonville.
